About Us
Chakra Cultural Foundation (CCF)—initially established in Indonesia as Yayasan Duta Chakra Budaya—is an Indonesian based cultural foundation dedicated to positioning culture as the fundamental infrastructure for a global world. We believe that sustainable futures cannot be achieved through technology, economics, or policy alone, but must be grounded in a deep understanding of culture as the living system that shapes human cognition, behavior, and coexistence.
CCF works to redefine culture beyond its conventional interpretations as heritage, tradition, or identity markers. We approach culture as a dynamic, adaptive force—one that underpins human resilience, social organization, and the long-term sustainability of life on Earth. Our vision is to establish culture as a foundational pillar in shaping sustainable, equitable, and adaptive global societies.
Inspired by a critical awareness of today’s global challenges—ecological degradation, social fragmentation, and cognitive disorientation—CCF focuses on socio-cultural frameworks as strategic assets for global endowment and development.
Our mission is to:
A core focus of CCF is the exploration of the co-evolution of culture and genetics. We examine how cultural environments shape behavioral patterns, cognitive structures, and even biological expressions across generations. By unveiling these mechanisms of human evolution, CCF contributes new perspectives to understanding and addressing contemporary global crises—ranging from environmental sustainability to social cohesion and ethical governance. We assert that culture has always been, and will remain, central to human civilization, bridging the past, present, and future in the pursuit of sustainable development.
Chakra Cultural Foundation actively fosters global partnerships and collaborative initiatives with institutions, researchers, policymakers, and community leaders who share our commitment to transformative change.
Guided by our motto:
“Resettling cognitive structures and embracing new ideas”
we seek to co-create platforms for dialogue, research, and action that challenge dominant paradigms and open space for renewed ways of thinking and living.

- Integrate culture into sustainable development agendas, offering alternative pathways for harmonious coexistence between humans and nature.
- Advance innovative research and community engagement that embeds cultural heritage into contemporary life without detaching it from its living context.
