Leadership Training based on Culture in collaboration with Wikasatrian
The Program Trial of Leadership Training Based on Culture, developed in collaboration with Wikasatrian, was successfully conducted as part of the continued preparation for the Kawah Pandu leadership framework. This trial marks the next step following last year’s program design and alignment process, ensuring that the model is fully refined before its official implementation. The program aims to launch its full Leadership Training Series in 2026, integrating cultural intelligence, heritage-based learning, and modern leadership principles.
During the trial session, facilitators introduced the Kawah Pandu concept—a culturally rooted leadership model inspired by Indonesia’s ancestral wisdom, emphasizing character formation, collective responsibility, and inner transformation. Participants experienced the use of the Sea and Land Boxes, a signature tool from the Cultural Genetics framework that helps leaders understand identity orientation, behavioural patterns, and decision-making tendencies shaped by cultural environments. These tools provided deep insights into how cultural archetypes influence leadership styles in organizational settings.
The trial activity resulted in valuable feedback that will be incorporated into the final curriculum. Both the organizing team and Wikasatrian highlighted the program’s strong potential to become a national model for leadership development grounded in Indonesian cultural philosophy. With the refinement process continuing throughout 2025, the Kawah Pandu Leadership Training Program is projected to officially begin in 2026 as a flagship initiative for culturally informed leadership education in Indonesia.
